We’ve been making some changes.

The new Binivie website is now live. It isn’t finished and that is intentional. Over the coming weeks we’ll continue adding products, projects, ideas and useful information as the site grows into a better reflection of what Binivie is today.

Because Binivie has grown too.

We’ve always believed that creating a home isn’t really about choosing individual things. It’s about understanding how everything works together, from the layout of a room to the towel hanging in the bathroom.

The new website brings all of that under one roof.

Increasingly, clients come to Binivie because they want one point of contact who can see the bigger picture.

For some, that means an entire project.

We can get involved before a property is purchased, help understand its potential, rethink layouts, plan a renovation, design kitchens and bathrooms, specify finishes, source furniture and lighting, make curtains and soft furnishings, coordinate deliveries and installations and take care of the final details.

For others, it might simply mean finding a new sofa, having curtains made or buying good bed linen and towels.

Both are Binivie.

We don’t think interior design needs to begin with a large project or a formal brief. Sometimes it begins with a WhatsApp message and a photograph of a room.

Our new online store is an important part of the website and one that will continue to grow.

We’re starting with the things every home needs: sheets, towels, bed linen, cushions and everyday essentials, alongside furniture, lighting, accessories and pieces we think deserve a place in a Menorca home.

The idea isn’t to create an enormous catalogue.

There are already plenty of those.

Instead, the Binivie store will be curated. Products and brands we know, things we use ourselves, things we specify for projects and things we believe represent good quality and good value. Tried and tested options.

It also makes Binivie more accessible.

You don’t need to be renovating a villa to walk through our door or shop with us online. You can come to us because you need towels.

And if those towels eventually lead to a conversation about the bathroom they’re going into, we can help with that too.

One home. As much or as little help as you need.

There is no single way to work with Binivie.

We can help with one decision or hundreds of them.

At one end, that might be bedding, towels, a lamp, a rug or a piece of furniture.

At the other, it can be a complete one-stop service: looking at a property before you buy it and staying involved until the beds are made, the towels are in the bathrooms and the house is ready for you to arrive.

Between those two points sits almost everything we do: interior design, renovation, project management, kitchens, bathrooms, lighting, furniture, curtains, upholstery, sourcing, styling and installation.

The scale changes. The approach doesn’t.

We don’t want you to complete a lengthy enquiry form just to ask us a question. We don’t want you navigating an automated chat system. And we certainly don’t want AI pretending to be us.

The new website also better reflects something we’ve found ourselves doing more and more: helping people before they commit to a property.

A house can look wonderful during a viewing while leaving plenty of unanswered questions.

Could the layout work better? Can that wall move? Is there room for another bathroom? What might the renovation cost? Where should money be spent? What would we change? And does the property actually have the potential you think it does?

Binivie is rooted in Menorca, and the new website reflects that more clearly.

But “Menorcan” doesn’t mean following a formula.

We love the traditional architecture and materials of the island, but we also like contemporary design, unexpected combinations and homes that reflect the people living in them.

An antique table can sit beside a contemporary chair. Bespoke joinery can incorporate standard cabinetry. Local stone can meet stainless steel. A beautiful piece might come from a Menorcan artisan, an international design house, a market find or IKEA.

What matters is whether it works.

Our approach is simple:

Curated. Honest. Menorcan.

The shop will continue to grow. More of our projects will appear. We’ll be publishing guides and practical advice about buying, renovating, furnishing and living in Menorca. We’ll share materials, products, suppliers, ideas and some of the lessons we learn from working on real homes every day.

You may find the occasional unfinished page or broken link while we do it. Bear with us.

We could have waited until every page was finished and every product uploaded, but that didn’t feel particularly necessary. Binivie.com can grow and evolve just as we do, with new projects, new ideas and new things to discover.
